The copper still used to make Patty Green whiskey

OUR PROCESS

Whiskey through a winemaker’s point of view.

Distinctive Pacific Northwest grain moves through a process shaped by decades of Oregon winemaking. Each recipe, barrel, and proof is chosen in pursuit of flavor.

DISTINCTIVE GRAIN

Every expression begins differently.

Francin, Full Pint, Lightning, Purple Karma, and Gazelle each bring a different structure and flavor. Rather than force one house style, Patty Green builds each whiskey around the character of its grain.

FROM GRAIN TO SPIRIT

Character, carried forward.

The malted grain is fermented and distilled near Forest Grove, Oregon, preserving its identity before Pinot Noir brandy and oak begin their influence.

THE WINEMAKER’S INFLUENCE

Pinot Noir brandy, built into every recipe.

Patricia Green Pinot Noir wine from the difficult vintage was triple-distilled into brandy. It is not a finishing touch, but part of the whiskey’s architecture.

RENEWED OAK + TIME

Wine barrels, given another life.

Former French oak wine barrels are renewed by ReWine, re-toasted, and charred for whiskey. Select releases also mature in Oregon oak, adding another expression of place.

FINAL SELECTION

The final decision is always made by taste.

Every barrel is evaluated on its own terms. The goal is not uniformity. It is to bottle the most compelling version of each whiskey.

Proof follows flavor, not the other way around.

EVALUATE

Taste every barrel individually.

PROOF

Compare full proof, then measured water.

SELECT

Bottle the most compelling version.

TASTE THE RESULT

Made by instinct. Defined by the barrel.

Every release begins with its own grain, follows its own barrels, and captures a singular moment in time.
